| dc.description | Las born global (BG) o international new ventures (INVs) han despertado el interés de muchas investigaciones en los últimos años. Sin embargo, las categorizaciones actuales de estos emprendimientos internacionales son muy amplias, lo que dificulta la selección especifica de mercados extranjeros. Este artículo pretende dar alternativas a dicha problemática. Para ello se parte de una revisión de la literatura que identifica las características que han delimitado el concepto: tiempo, escala y alcance. Luego, por medio del análisis y articulación de estos rasgos distintivos se genera una propuesta de nueva clasificación de BG que sirve para definir perfiles de internacionalización útiles al momento de seleccionar mercados extranjeros. | spa |

However, the current classification of this new breed of companies is so ample that it is difficult to choose a foreign entry mode.
