Foamed cement pastes or cellular cement pastes currently are a material of wide interest. The fresh state of these mixtures represents a critical point as it determines the properties on hardened state. Rheological characterization is an alternative to determine flow behavior. However, at an industrial level, it is difficult to perform rheometric measurements. Classically, properties such as slump diameter or time in the V-Funnel are more widely used. This study presents the rheological results and characterization of the plastic and hardened state of foamed OPC pastes made with alternative reagents. Main results show that the Bingham plastic model describes flow behavior, and it is possible to relate rheological parameters with classic measurements. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd
