“El arte de resistir” es una colección creada desde el enfoque de diseño universal, dirigida a hombres con movilidad reducida, pero pensada para ser habitada por cualquier persona. La propuesta une estética y funcionalidad, buscando que el vestuario sea un puente entre cuerpo, dignidad y libertad. Inspirada en Laureles (Medellín), un barrio donde la naturaleza florece entre estructuras urbanas, el concepto “Renacer entre paredes” reflexiona sobre la coexistencia entre lo construido y lo vivo. La colección traduce esta idea en prendas con cortes geométricos, texturas neutras y detalles que evocan crecimiento, fluidez y resistencia. El proceso de creación incluyó el reto de explorar el universo de la ropa íntima, de playa y deportiva, lo que permitió un acercamiento técnico y sensible a materiales, acabados e insumos poco familiares, enriqueciendo la propuesta desde lo funcional y lo simbólico. Más que una propuesta de moda, esta colección rinde homenaje a quienes han pensado en rendirse, pero eligen levantarse cada día. Cada prenda se convierte en un acto poético de fortaleza: una forma de habitar el cuerpo desde la libertad, la inclusión y la belleza que nace en medio de la adversidad. Porque resistir también es un arte.“The Art of Resisting” is a fashion collection developed under the principles of universal design, aimed at men with reduced mobility but created for all bodies and identities. It combines aesthetics and functionality, offering garments that connect dignity, comfort, and beauty. The concept, “Rebirth Between Walls,” is inspired by Laureles, a neighborhood in Medellín where nature grows among concrete and the city evolves without losing its essence. The collection translates this duality into garments with geometric cuts, neutral textures, and soft details that speak of growth, fluidity, and inner strength. One of the greatest challenges in this process was exploring the world of intimate wear, swimwear, and sportswear—areas that required technical research and understanding of materials, finishes, and specific user needs. This exploration enriched the collection both visually and functionally. Beyond fashion, this project is a tribute to those who, at some point, felt like giving up—but chose to keep going. Each piece is designed to celebrate the silent strength of bodies that adapt, resist, and thrive. It is a reminder that clothing can be more than just a layer—it can be a powerful expression of identity, autonomy, and resilience. Because resisting… is also a form of art.
