“La muerte me negó su abrazo” toca el delicado tema del suicidio, pero va más allá del acto en sí, este proyecto busca representar lo que sucede después de, después de que se haya buscado la muerte con tanto fervor y que está nos rechace, ¿dónde queda el alma tras haber fallado en un intento de liberarse? Mi vestido se llama renacer y así es como yo como diseñadora y ser humano materializo esto, ¿qué sigue después de cometer un acto contra su propia humanidad? Para mí es el “renacer”, una persona que quiso escapar de la vida, pero no tuvo éxito y surgen muchas preguntas. ¿Una persona a la que la muerte no deseó abrazar es entonces obligada a vivir? ¿Fue el destino? ¿O un desliz de este?, nunca lo sabremos si no experimentamos lo que es vivir teniendo una segunda oportunidad y esto es lo maravilloso del arte, resignificar los dolores, tristezas, sufrimientos etc y ver cómo podemos transformar todo esto en algo bueno, en arte.Abstract "Death denied me its embrace" touches on the delicate subject of suicide, but goes beyond the act itself, this project seeks to represent what happens after, after death has been sought with such fervor and it rejects us, where is the soul after having failed in an attempt to free itself? My dress is called rebirth and this is how I as a designer and human being materialize this, what follows after committing an act against your own humanity? For me it is the "rebirth", a person who wanted to escape from life, but did not succeed and many questions arise. A person whom death did not want to embrace is then forced to live? Was it fate? Or a slip of fate? We will never know if we do not experience what it is to live having a second chance and this is the wonderful thing about art, resignify the pains, sorrows, sufferings etc and see how we can transform all this into something good, into art.
