Este proyecto trata de hacer una crítica y concientizar sobre todos aquellos problemas que están relacionados con el cambio climático, y que causan la degradación de la tierra y la perdida de la biodiversidad, creando un cuerpo vestido por la combinación de la biotecnología y la moda, con el uso de textiles biodegradables crecidos con bacterias, como la Myxococcus xanthus, también conocida como la Kombucha, una bacteria cultivada a partir de desechos, que es capaz de producir fibras naturales durante su proceso de crecimiento, entre otra exploración de biomateriales que al ser regresados a la tierra tienen la capacidad de ayudarla a regenerarla, mostrando así que la moda realmente puede contribuir a salvar a la tierra.This project seeks to critique and raise awareness about all those problems that are related to climate change, and that cause land degradation and loss of biodiversity, creating a body dressed by the combination of biotechnology and fashion, with the use of biodegradable textiles grown with bacteria, such as Myxococcus xanthus, also known as Kombucha, a bacteria grown from waste, which is capable of producing natural fibers during its growth process, among other exploration of biomaterials that when returned to the earth have the ability to help it regenerate, thus showing that fashion can really contribute to saving the earth.
