dc.descriptionEste artículo, abordado desde la perspectiva estratégica, pretende caracterizar la práctica de formación y desarrollo e indagar por su relación con el desempeño organizacional en empresas manufactureras grandes de una región colombiana. Se parte de la teoría de recursos y capacidades, contrastándose en un estudio de caso en seis empresas, utilizando una metodología cualitativa para lo cual se aplicaron entrevistas a profundidad a los gerentes de talento humano. Se concluye, que desde lo teórico, se ha encontrado una fuerte asociación entre estas dimensiones y desde lo empírico se constató que la relación depende del enfoque estratégico de la formación dentro de las organizaciones.spa
dc.descriptionThis article addressed from a strategic perspective, aims to characterize the practice of training and development and to investigate its relationship with organizational performance in manufacturing company’s great Colombian region, is part of the resource-based theory, a study contrasting case in six companies, using a qualitative methodology which is applied depth interviews with human resources managers. The conclusion is that from the theoretical to found a strong association between these dimensions and from the observed empirical that the relationship the approach depends on the strategic value of training within organizations.spa
