dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este documento es evidenciar la contribución de los programas de cooperación internacional en la internacionalización de pymes de Medellín. Para ello se desarrolla una metodología cualitativa a través de un estudio de caso múltiple de 4 empresas que participaron en programas de cooperación internacional, cuyo proceso de internacionalización fue evaluado desde el modelo Uppsala. Los resultados reflejan que los programas contribuyen a la etapa inicial del proceso de internacionalización. Como conclusión se plantea que, independientemente de la ayuda, la internacionalización dependerá de la manera como las empresas hagan uso de su conocimiento experimental y desarrollen un modelo de construcción de confianza y de redes comerciales.spa
dc.descriptionThe aim of this article is to describe the contribution of international cooperation programs in the internationalization of small and medium enterprises in Medellin. Qualitative methodology is developed through multiple case studies of four companies that participated in international cooperation programs. The enterprises are evaluated in their internationalization process using the Uppsala model. The results show that the programs only contributes to the initial stage of the internationalization process. The conclusion shows that internationalization will depend on the way companies make use of their knowledge and develop a good experimental model for building trust and trading networks.spa
dc.descriptionO objectivo deste documento é evidenciar a contribuição dos programas de cooperação internacional na internacionalização de PMEs de Medellín. Para tal desenvolve-se uma metodologia qualitativa através de um estudo de caso múltiplo de quatro empresas que participaram em programas se cooperação internacional, cujo processo de internacionalização foi avaliado a partir do modelo Uppsala. Os resultados mostram que os programas contribuem para a etapa inicial do processo de internacionalização. Conclui-se que independentemente da ajuda, a internacionalização depende da forma como as empresas utilizem o seu conhecimento experimental e desenvolvam um modelo de construção de confiança e de redes comerciais.spa
