According to the European Union, the bioeconomy is the ability to transform knowledge from life sciences into new, sustainable, eco-efficient and competitive products. This allows closing the biological cycles, revealing projects that help identify key actors in the circular economy and climate change. The objective of the article is to present, in the context of the bioeconomy, the most promising productive chains of the municipality of Pore based on the productive potentialities in the agro-industrial sector that can be developed in the municipality, and that can facilitate the construction of competitive advantages. The results allow us to conclude that two large lines were identified, the first aimed at maintaining production and building different chains over time, making the yield per hectare more efficient, and the second raises the offer of new products, based on the use per hectare of the region. © 2022, Associacao Iberica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informacao.
