Resumen
Inicialmente se realizará una reseña histórica del Sistema Financiero en Colombia y cómo está conformado, para identificar la madurez y experiencia en el país, y poder así estructurar y operar un mercado de derivados en el sector, sostenible jurídica y técnicamente; que brinde mayor liquidez e igualmente se constituya en un instrumento acertado para la gestión de riesgo de los agentes del mercado financiero; se expondrá también el Mercado de Derivados en Colombia y la Normatividad que lo rige. En el capítulo siguiente se hablará de la Gestión de Riesgo, partiendo de las definiciones del mismo, lo cual permite tener claridad sobre los riesgos a los que se está expuesto al momento de realizar una inversión, y cómo cuantificarlos. Posteriormente se dedicará un capítulo al Riesgo de Mercado, tratando el tema de los riesgos sistemáticos, detallando lo concerniente a los Mercados de Derivados en Colombia y la forma en que están regulados; además, se explicará que órganos de control se deben crear al interior de la empresa, para velar por el cumplimiento de los controles establecidos, efectuar un seguimiento adecuado y realizar mediciones continuas, que permitan evaluar los riesgos. Finalmente se tratará el tema de los Portafolios de Inversiones, mediante una presentación teórica de los mismos: Los aspectos generales; supuestos económicos de la teoría de portafolios clásica; el retorno de una inversión, el retorno de un portafolio, valor esperado de la tasa de retorno de un portafolio; la varianza del retorno del portafolio y la diversificación del mismo, para llegar finalmente al modelo que se quiere dar a conocer: El Modelo de Markowitz, el cual busca minimizar la varianza de un portafolio (Riesgo del Portafolio) y dar una visión clara al inversionista, de manera que disponga de diferentes opciones al momento de tomar una decisión, considerando los dos aspectos básicos: Rentabilidad y Riesgo. Initially, it will be made an historical review of the Financial System in Colombia and how it is conformed, to identify the maturity and experience in the country, and it could structure and operate a derivatives market in the sector, viability legal and technical; that it offers more cash flow and also it will be a right instrument for management of risk of the agents of the financial market; to explain the derivatives market in Colombia and the legal requirements of the government. The following chapter it will be about the Risk Management, beginning about the definitions, which allows to be clear about the risks to which it has been exposed at the time of making an investment, and how to quantify them. Later, the topic about the systematic risks will be dedicated in the chapter of the Risk of Market, treating the markets of derivatives in Colombia and how they are regulated; besides, it will be explained how staff control are going to create in the company, to supervise the fulfillment of the established controls, to make follow and continuous measurements to evaluate the risks. Finally, it will be the topic about Investment’s Portfolios, by a theoretical presentation of them: The general aspects; economic assumptions of the classic theory of portfolios; the return of an investment, the return of portfolio, expected value of the rate of return of portfolio; the variance of the portfolio return and the diversification of the same one, to arrive finally at the model that it´s wanted to present: The Model of Markowitz, which looks for to diminish the variance of portfolio (Risk of the Portfolio) and to give a clear vision to the investor to take a decision, considering both basic aspects: Yield and Risk.
