In a world where the need for a transition towards sustainable energy sources is imperative, this thesis presents a solid business plan for a renewable energy company in Colombia. The renewable energy sector offers opportunities for innovation, but also challenges in planning and effective communication. The research begins with a detailed analysis of global trends in renewable energy and the local context. Local competitors are evaluated to identify opportunities and differentiation for the new company, GENCORE. The CANVAS model is used to communicate the business plan effectively. GENCORE is presented as a case study, with a clear value proposition and well-defined target population. The results highlight the dynamic growth of renewable energy ventures in Medellín, driven by sustainability and the reduction of the environmental footprint. The business plan serves as a guide for those seeking to start a business in the field of renewable energy.eng
