Value drivers are resources and characteristics that an organization possesses to generate value for itself and its partners in a strategic alliance that allows them to achieve their strategic goals. The purpose of this work was to validate an instrument by consulting experts to find out which value drivers are key to the management of alliances between universities. Thirty-one judges were consulted and their suitability as experts was measured by means of the coefficient of expert competence; subsequently, the content validity was analyzed by means of Aiken’s V and the reliability of the instrument was determined by calculating Cronbach’s Alpha and MacDonald’s Omega analysis. Fifteen inducers were obtained for the generation of the value that coincide both in what is reported in the literature and in the validation process with the experts, as well as the results of Cronbach’s Alpha (0.940) and MacDonald’s Omega (0.944), confirming the reliability of the instrument. Considering the above, it is concluded that the instrument is valid and adequate to collect information related to value drivers in organizations. © (2024), (Universidad del Zulia).
